From what I’ve seen, mostly Russians look for the properties in English and Russian (if you got proper translations). The problem you got most probably caused by wrong encoding of the language: try, utf-8, cp1251, koi8-r as the main encodings for Russian language. Verify the encodings in your database as well.

Hi Andrey, 1 more question, please. Russians who wants to buy property abroad; when they search for property abroad, for example in Montenegro, France, Spain, Italy; in which language will they search? What do you think?As I said in my previous mail, we have a problem with Firefox and the Russian language. To target The Russian potential buyers, can we do the job with English? What is your opinion?
